The what and why of soda blasting
We have taken the miracle ingredient of more than a few classic home remedies and transformed it into the ultimate weapon against age and grime. What are we talking? It’s nothing more than food-grade bicarbonate soda.
Naturally there is some difference between the bicarb soda used in our process and that used in the home, with ours consisting of larger ‘particle’ form than the in-home standard. These larger particles, when fired from our specially designed compressed air blaster, unleash a unique energy reaction when blasted at high speeds against a given surface, which ‘disrupts’ the structure of the paint or rust, wearing it down and effectively blowing it away. All that is left at the end of the process is a clean and clear surface that looks and feels as good as new – there is no harm or damage caused by the process at any point.
Soda blasting is an environmentally friendly cleaning approach – the entire process is non-toxic, non-hazardous and uses minimal water to achieve results as good if not better than any other similar technology or process.
Imagine being able to get rid of:
- Chipped and faded paint
- Oil stains
- Graffiti removal
- Petrochemical residues
- Chewing gum
There is absolutely zero damage done to the original, underlying surface – the end result of our process will leave the original surface and structure looking and feeling as good as new. It’s this promise of zero damage that helps truly set us apart from other heavy-duty domestic and industrial cleaning technologies.
